ACC STATEMENT ON COLOMBIAN EARTHQUAKE"On behalf of the Colombian Association of Surgery and its Board of Directors, we deeply regret the tragic consequences of the earthquake that struck our country yesterday morning. In light of this painful situation, we extend our deepest condolences and our full solidarity to the families who have lost loved ones, to those affected, and to all communities facing the devastating consequences of this emergency across the affected regions. Precisely because we understand that Colombia needs us more united and supportive than ever today, we have decided to move forward with our 52nd Surgical Week. Colombia’s resilience will prevail.
