This years congress gathered an audience of approximately 1400 people from several countries in America, Europe, and different regions of Brazil. Case discussion sessions were held in 4 simultaneous rooms, promoting great interaction with the audience.

THANKS TO ALL SPEAKERS, PARTICIPANTS, AND OTHERS WHO HELPED TO MAKE THE 2014 ANNUAL MEETING A SUCCESS! Over 400 people attended the congress this year and approximately 86% of the participants were from outside Panama. The Scientific Program Committee appreciates the participation of all Panamanians and foreign professionals
This year’s event attracted over 700 people from 19 countries, and featured more than 50 foreign speakers along with many international participants.
A comprehensive scientific programwith interesting workshops, lectures, and debates based on main themes about: Resuscitation and hemostasis, Trauma systems, Damage control and IA hypertension, Disaster and terrorism, Non-operative management, Vascular trauma, Acute care surgery, Pre-hospital, Thoracic trauma, Pre-hospital, Critical care issues, and a Latin America forum on trauma care.
A platform for research findings. 85 scientific papers were presented during oral and poster presentations in three categories General, Resident and Student - List of winners & Travel Scholarship Winners An inspiration for the expert and novice alike. A special student program was held during the PTS Congress which served to involved and connect students from several countries.
