The Panamerican Trauma Society seeks to encourage the exchange of knowledge and information between and among physicians, nurses, prehospital providers, and other health care personnel who take care of injured patients in North, Central, and South America.

Who Should Join?


All societies
in the regions of the Americas and the Caribbeans whose mission and goals include the prevention of injury and violence, the treatment and care of injured patients, and the study of the disease known as trauma are welcome to become SPT affiliated societies.


Any individuals in the regions of the Americas and the Caribbeans whose mission and goals include the prevention of injury and violence, the treatment and care of injured patients, and the study of the disease known as trauma are welcome to become a member of SPT.


Why Join?


SPT offers to all its affiliated societies and its members the opportunity for exchange of scientific and clinical information related to trauma as well as networking opportunities with leaders and experts in the field of Trauma at an international level.

 

SPT affiliated societies will have the opportunity for event sharing and special notices of their own society on the SPT Website. 

 

Members of SPT affiliated societies are eligible for specific benefits that include:

  • Reduced SPT annual membership fee
  • Reduced SPT annual congress registration fee
  • Reduced SPT courses registration fee 
  • Access to Panamerican Journal of Trauma
